MATACUY is a compound, a traditional digestive made from Peruvian botanicals. The initial recipe was developed 35 years ago by Wendy Weeks. Two extractions, one before and one after distilling. The extractions follow a precise process of measurements and times. Most of our botanicals are produced in the ecological farm of Destilería Andina in Ollantaytambo – Cuzco, on Inca terraces – without any chemical product. MATACUY is a natural, complex, balanced, traditional and medicinal liquor saturated with the flavors of our land.
