Iskonawa
Iskonawa is the result of a creative exchange between the artisans of the Iskonawa community in the Ucayali rainforest and Puna’s exploration of the dialogue between the ancestral and the contemporary.
From simple geometric shapes like circles and diamonds to hand-drawn ceramic motifs, these designs evoke both the everyday and the mystical. The interplay between nature’s simplicity and the richness of the patterns brings to mind the Japanese Wabi-Sabi philosophy, where beauty is found in imperfection and the passage of time.
This collection is a tribute to the harmony between nature and human creativity, celebrating both traditional craftsmanship and modern expression.
